Website Redesign

By now you’ve probably noticed that things look a bit different around here.  The entire site has been refreshed and updated and now works on all mobile devices.  Information is now easier to find and you can now register for an event directly from the events pages.   If you have any questions, comments, or need help, please post any feedback on our Facebook group, and I’ll respond as quickly as I can. Also, a big thank you to NoBraking and Hyland Media for providing all of the awesome pictures.

Ready for 2013?

With 7 events and hundreds of attendees, 2012 was Drift Spot’s biggest year yet.  Now that the 2013 season is upon us, let’s get right into what is going to make this season even better. First off, a few changes regarding safety equipment. Snell SA Helmets are now required for all drivers.  Previously we allowed Snell M rated helmets for those not in the tandem groups (Group A and Group B-Tandem) Fire Extinguishers are now required for all Tandem groups, specifically an A-B-C type. Cars will be checked for leaks more vigorously, so make sure your car is sound before you go out onto the course. If you crash, shut down your engine and remain in the vehicle.  Do not attempt to drive back into the pits until you are given the all clear by the event and track staff. Regarding the state of the event site: Spills must be cleaned up immediately.  Any left over fluids will result in a strike against the driver.  3 strikes and you’ll be removed…
